This is the classic song from the 1965 breakthrough movie Guide sang by Lataji
and composed by Burmanda .
The video is a little fuzzy but there is nothing like it on the web. I you liked that there is more where that came from.
If you liked it right a commet or something.
Enjoy
WOW So many great songs in one film .Hats of to SD Burman .Each song a gem and most improtantly fiting with the movie perfectly. Yet another example is this song. Brilliant. A song about a person running from his past searching for who knows what and trying to get solace in spirituality instead of confronting his own demons.
A very sweet duet by Kishore and Asha .Composed by sd burman Paying guest 1957. I felt that Asha's voice was well suited for duets. Her voices sounds like a seventeen year old in the song.
And my fauvorite line in the song
ye rastaa ye tanhaai lo dil ne Thokar khaayee
I also added a scene at the end of the song.
Enjoy
WOH..............Wha t a song just the way its starts and the lyrics brilliant. There is so much life in this song, with lata at her peak(perhaps).------ -----

If you have been in the dumps for a long time and suddenly one day you realize that life is about the pure joy you will love this song. Coming back to life.
The first song that I heard from Guide 1965. Could haave never imagined that the rest of the songs would be so good.
A kishore lata duet. I read somewhere they made this so that kishore could sing atleast one song.
Enjoy
Wow the most charming duet of the fifties. Sung by kishore and lata. Reminds me of the last time I fell in love!!!!!!!!!!!
