The world's best cassette player/recorder. And it also has TRUE auto-reverse. There seems to be a debate over which has the best sound, the DRAGON or the CR-7. Both are made by NAKAMICHI.
The DRAGON list price was $2,499.00 new in 1982. It was built from 1982 to 1993.
I turned my dining room into a Diner and furnished it with a 1940's Coke machine, a 1948 & 1952 jukebox and lots and lots of signs. Notice the working wallbox sitting on the diner table that's connect to the jukebox. Nothing in this room is a reproduction, all original stuff.
This is probably the third best cassette recorder ever made. It is in 3rd place behind the DRAGON & CR-7. All three were made by THE NAKAMICHI COMPANY. This RX-505 has the famous flip cassette compartment and it's the top-of-the-line in the RX series for Nakamichi. In this video I'm using a TDK Metal tape. The RX-505 had a retail price of $1549.00 and was made from 1984 to 1993.
This RX-303 is the second best unit in the Nakamichi RX Series. Right below the RX-505. This recorder has the famous flip auto-reverse cassette compartment. The RX-303 had a list price of $995.00 and was made from 1984 to 1986.
This is a neat looking 10" AKAI recorder. I love the colored buttons. The green for play is now on, but there is red, white and yellow for the others. Also this is one of the last recorders made. Notice that it has a digital counter.
