fotheringay's one and only album would definately be in my top twenty indispensable albums along with fairport's "what we did on our holidays". I love Sandy's voice, and this album featured the beautifully fluid guitar of Jerry Donahue. Every track is a gem.

A wonderful album in the vein of Fairport Convention and an awesome arrangement of a British traditional song made by Sandy Denny and Trevor Lucas. NOTE: To listen to this song in stereo, just copy and paste '&fmt=18'at the end of the URL then refresh.

two songs from the inimitable Sandy Denny. Nothing More, my fav track from her album with Fotheringay. Like an Old Fashioned Waltz from her solo album of the same name from 1973. She died in in 1978 after falling down the stairs at her home. This is for Joanne in ireland (nannerbj)

Rare, earliest performance of this great band with original vocalist Judy Dyble. She would soon be replaced by Sandy Denny. Judy was very underrated! This song though has Ian Matthews on lead vocals. Richard Thompson, Ashley Hutchings, Simon Nicol, and Martin Lamble are the other members during this time.

Live from an outdoor concert in 1970. Sandy Denny is already gone and Richard Thompson would soon leave. Still, this is a very beautiful song and music clip.
