We rode our bicycles from down Market Street to the Mission District -- the whole way, people whooping it up on the streets and sidewalks, car horns honking, high fives and peace signs and huges smiles on everybody's face. Finally, we can get out of the dark ages of the 20th century. It's a new day, baby!!!
