Waukegan & Merrilville. I don't even know how to express my gratitude to the Clackgatherer's who donate so much of their time and energy towards bringing us the best! Thank you so much jojoct and Scarlett for these gems!
Verona - Englewood. Thank you to BOTH "Secretly" and "Mar" 'Loves Clay' for these!... heh. And also to Clay Aiken who can somehow manage to make us all laugh and cry... at the same time.
Easton-Hartford. Hope nobody's getting tired of these... I'm certainly not!... as tough as this particular video editing process was... just because there was so much! Even so... thank you to jojoct... who managed to capture every single bit of it.
Long Island. What an amazing man he is. Suffering from an inner ear infection and the accompanying vertigo he still managed to bring it! And what great voice he was in that night! Thank you to jojoct and guitargirl for capturing these wonderful videos.
I never imagined when I saw him for the first time in 2003 that he would turn out to be, not only one of the most amazing vocal performers I've ever heard, but one of the most personable showmen I've ever seen... with one of the quickest wits ever. He is amazing.
This one makes me a wee sniffly since it took place in my home town of Grand Rapids and at a venue very near and dear to me... I tried my best with Detroit... Video by canfly172 and Lacy. Thank you!
Or...if the shoe fits. *g*
Thanks to all who cap, shoot, film, rendor and share the amazing clack. And a special thanks for allowing me to borrow it.
::hugs to Secretly Loves Clay, Brandilynne, dreamlarge, Nanjeanne, Karen Eh?, MommaJudy, gerwhisp and Fanclaysia in particular::
If I missed anyone please let me know.
Oh... and thanks to Justin for this too.
I apologize that I had to shorten this one but there was just too much good stuff to fit into a little 10 minute section. I encourage you to scout out places to download clips from this venue. Thanks so much to 4192spooky, I'mAllEars & xxx4clay for your videographic expertise.
Clay's quintessential performance of this particular song IMHO. Enjoy. Captured so brilliantly by Secretly Loves Clay... Independent Tour... Worcester...3/8/04. Mwuah SLC!
eta... and although the audio was muted, you don't really need audio for 2:00 - 3:07...
Set to a song by the Gabe Dixon Band, this wonderful montage created by Good Baby Brush in early January of 2006, descended upon us like manna from heaven. OK I'm exaggerating. But still, I believe it was truly inspired.
*Used with permission.
I always figured that her father would sing "Butterfly Kisses" at her wedding. And then after hearing Clay Aiken sing "I Will Be There" I fantasized about him for awhile... As it turned out, it was perfect.
Just found it funny that he's replacing LeAnn Rimes on December 19th in Grand Rapids. Watch it and it'll all make sense.
And thank you to the very lovely "dreamlarge" for this perfect and timely juxtaposition. It was absolutely inspired.
