60009 Union of South Africa blasts through Oakleigh Park station on its way to Ely, attacking the climb in fine stlye. A truely awe inspiring sight and all the bells and whistles and steam!
35028 clan line steams through woking with a VSOE pullman train. didnt actually plan to see it here as i was on my way to purley to see it. unfortuantley there's a lot of background noise because a 66 went through with a fast freight. listen carefully for the whistle
60019 Bittern races down stoke bank on the slow whilst a hull trains pioneer flashes past on the fast. She was around over half an hour early, luckily she came round the bend about a minute or so after i had got into position.
34067 tangmere makes an aggressive start from victoria. she left about 50 mins late because the diesel broke down, the height of irony i thought. they brought in 73136 perserverance to pull it in but it did not help it up the bank hence the aggressive start. smoke, steam and classic bulied slipping :)
6233 duchess of sutherland pounds through winchfield on the outward leg of the locomotive exchange special. running about 2 minutes late she makes a fine sight, climbing up the hill, towards basingstoke
