My favourite ditch in Scotland, which I have fallen up to my neck in at least once. Guaranteed entertaining, it has inspired riders to visit Scotland just so they can say "Lets have a go at that ditch thats on YouTube- it looks easy!" _ watch the 12yr old on the quad about halfway through ! Usually much muddier either side !, I'm on the last bike through.

My first Toastmaster speech - I hope it inspires everyone to join and have a go themselves ! Its a real buzz and great fun for all involved. Please add constructive comments ,remember it was my first go ! I know that I shouldn't clasp my hands or admit to nerves but if i was perfect there would be no point going along !
Speech entitled "The Joy. The Ecstasy. The Moment"
The objective for this speech is to:
Use stance, movement, gestures, facial expressions and eye contact to express your message and acheive the speeches purpose"
Bang on the maximum 7.00 minutes allowed
Speech 6 in the ToastMasters Competent Communicators manual "Vocal Variety"
The objective is to make maximum use of vocal techniques within the speech.
I cheated a bit - the speech itself was called "Using Vocal Variety". There are a few minor mistakes which got picked up -try and spot them. Apologies to anyone from Cornwall !
Speech 4 in Competent Communicator Manual "How to say it". Objective to "Select right words and sentence structure to communicate ideas clearly, accurately, vividly. Use rhetorical devices to enhance and emphasise ideas. Eliminate jargon and unnecessary words. Use correct grammar"
Time allowed 5-7 minutes - I took 8mins 11secs - Tut Tut !
sound is totally out of synch . Why !!!!??? I must have tried 6 different ways to get it to work properly. Maybe just listen to it with you eyes closed and pretend its a podcast
A Burns Supper "Toast to the Lassies" - my interpretation of the traditional toast which should be humorous and a bit cheeky but never rude ,not that that stops a bit of innuendo
