This is a Spike's Tactical .22lr with a Hearing Protection LLC Checkmate suppressor. I only had Winchester Target and High Velocity Winchester Super X ammo. I had a few cheap Remington Subsonic rounds but they wouldn't chamber. It was an ammo problem and not an equipment malfunction as CCI Subsonic run fine. With that said, subsonic ammo is Hollywood quiet.

0,5 litre soda bottle is used as a suppressor on a .22lr rifle. With this suppressor you don't need any hearing protection and it is cheap!
Lol! I realized that actually both of the ammo used in this test are subsonic ammo!
I also happen to live in Finland so the laws of the US of A do not touch me at any level, so don't bother to report me to the ATF.

Shooting my Marlin Model 60 at 80 or so yards. 14 rounds of .22 LR with a Marlin Model 60 at about 80 or so yards. Grouping is pretty good as you'll see. Be patient, it's not edited.

In this experiment, I found out that both cartridges will penetrate all the way through even a tightly packed cotton sheet. The .22 hollowpoint went clean through without expanding any, but the .17 V-max expanded a lot on the way through as it made a much larger hole going out than the .22 did.

Me, my dad, and my sister go out to the country to shoot a little. We shot the Desert Eagle, Ruger 10/22 and MAK-90 but technical difficulties with the camera prevented us from taping alot of it and this is the result...Enjoy?
