A hidden feature in Soul Cailbur that is not well known about is the ability to play the game with the fishing controller, by swinging it about Wii style. The controls are by no means 1:1 accurate, but the direction you swing does translate into the game, and you can set up the controls so that spinning the reel will make our character spin their weapon. A new instrument designed at the Input Devices and Musical Interaction Laboratory at Mcgill University. The Orb senses motion using a 3 axis accelerometer along with infrared sensors and a piezoelectric element. The sounds and lights are all controlled based upon the motion of the device.
