Ferocious and brave peccary takes on 2 jaguars. (The footage is in the Amazon. I didn't see the entire program--just caught this amazing fight scene.) The peccary ends up dying in the little river from exhaustion from its wounds caused by this attack.
This clip is mainly about the male lions on the Savannah. Some great cinematography scenes despite the high key footage (ultra sunny). Hard to watch the hyenas eating a wildebeest while it's fully conscious--not for the faint of heart.
I believe this footage is taken somewhere near the middle of the Ngorongoro Crater with it's 2000 ft rim (conservation area, located in the Arusha region in Northern Tanzania, SE of Serengeti National Park) or on the African Savanna. It's pretty much classic lion behavior.
Lions and Buffalo rumble somewhere on the African Savannah. The lions are just dwarfed by their prey. For all they're made up to be, lions live on a pretty subsistence level diet: you never see any FAT lions running around out there in the wilderness.
