Since the start the race has lost ABN AMRO ONE, Maximum and Australian Yachting Classic 'Koomooloo'. Six other yachts also called it a day either heading to Eden or back to Sydney.

One of the last sailing sessions before the Queensland sailors headed off to Adelaide for the 505 National and World Championships. Just to make it interesting, they sailed at night!

On Wednesday the 15th of November a spectacular storm cell engulfed parts of Brisbane and eventually ended up by the bay at Manly. It was awesome watching the front evolve however was a harsh reminder that the summer storm season is now upon us. Batten down the hatches my friends, it's going to be wet and windy storm season. (For those in the Northern Hemisphere, enjoy winter!)
