Our Erj-135 operates out of Key West. It, is one of the few jets that can make the demanding takeoff here. The runway is about 4900ft. or 1493 meters. Very short... Especailly in the 90 degree summers of South Florida. Listen the the soda cans in the galley when the pilot releases the brakes...
In Central Florida we gets these swarms of dumb flys in May and September. They are the slowest dumbest bugs you will ever see. My cat thinks they are a hor'dourve.
