Jahanbegloo was arrested in Tehran in 2005 over his ties with the US-government funded Natinoal Endowment for Democracy (NED). Now on CBC, he claims he had never done anything political and he was arrested only becuase he was Canadian. And predictably, the CBC makes sure that is never mentioned too.
