For this video I made a slide show of NASA images of Earth from space to the tune of "From a Distance" by Bette Midler. What I produced was so emotionally touching that I teared up while editing. I hope you enjoy it and it means something to you, too.
In junior high and high school I collected muscle car trading cards and listened to olides. Here are some scans from my collection -- Pontiac GTO's to the tune of "Little GTO" by Ronnie and the Daytonas.
Unlike other cars from the muscle car era, as far as I know there is no song about Plymouths. However, Plymouth's pony car was the Barracuda, and there is a song called "Barracuda" by Heart. So I combinded the two in this video. Mopar fans, this is your sequel to "Little Old Lady from Pasadena."
Switching gears a little bit (ha ha, I made a pun), I went for the classy instead of the sporty. I scanned my *entire* collection of "Car and driver Presents the Cadillac Collection" and put it to the tune of "Pink Cadillac" by Natalie Cole. 96 cars, only two were pink. I apologize in advance for some of the distortion, but these cards were wider and longer than the standard trading card.
This is the latest installment of my muscle cars and oldies collection. Here I have AMC muscle cars, including my favorite -- the 1970 AMC Rebel Machine, to the tune of Rebel Rouser by Duane Eddy. Yee-Haaw!
Here is my second video from my muscle card collection. It's Dodge muscle cars from the 1960's and 1970's to the tune of "The Little Old Lady from Pasadena." Mopar fans, enjoy!
My sequel to the Star Trek/Projects Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo video. This has images of the Space Shuttle with an extended version of the Star Trek, The Next Generation theme. Like the last one, unfortuantly, it lacks the classic monologue.
It's been a while, but I made another video. How about Bon Jovi, Harleys, Texas, and women? I put together pictures of the ladies at the Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally to the music of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive."
I was looking for a video of "Leningrad" by Billy Joel but I couldn't find one. So I made my own using some images from WWII and the Cold War. I made it as simple as possible because I wanted the images to speak for themselves.
Part three of four in my NHRA O'Reilly Spring Nationals musical slideshow series. "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar is the soundtrack for this video of the Pro Stock and Sportsmen (amature and semi-pro) classes. I also have photos of me with Greg Anderson and Houston native Erica Enders.
Here are some assorted images from NASA's Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo projects. The background theme is the original Star Trek theme song minus (unfortunatly) the famous William Shatner monologue.
