By request, here's the tutorial for the card twirl featured in a few of my videos. It is a really simple move, but don't underestimate the power it has.
This move makes a great flourish in your cardistry routine when you want to put focus on a specific card. It's also great practice for your flow.
Video for laymen, made in Fall 2006.
So don't expect new moves or anything like that, that's why I never bother posted it on Decknique.
For those who don't know already, What The Hell Happened to Sybil is by Brian Tudor.
Here's a quick, smooth cardistry routine with a few slick bits of sleight of hand. In case you missed it the first time around, that one card is always the King of Clubs!

Based on Jerry Cestkowski's X Cuts. Also a bonus Hot Shot Reverse Move.
I don't claim to have invented any moves here, just trying to present them with style. The performance of the vortex cut was created by me, but use X Cuts by Jerry. The hot shot reverse I came up with on my own but I'm not the first to do it. Daryl created the original hot shot cut that's being reversed here.
Old... Nothing out of this world, but not terrible. Moves generally aren't new but the execution is pretty smooth. Not production quality but thought it might be worth sharing anyways.
Yes, it's the X-Cut again. The final time. It's not just about the X-Cut though, but about the style, progression, and aesthetic of the video, which I really enjoy here.
Still experimenting with my new workstation. I also experimented with a new mic but hell the music is cooler than the sound of a bunch of cards scraping together.
Maybe someday I'll make a longer video, haha.
