A tomato ethylene receptor fused to GFP was transiently expressed in onion epidermal cell. The fusion protein was targeted to the ER and imaged by a upright Leica TSC SP2 AOBS laser confocal scanning microscope.
The cDNA of an Arabidopsis putative RNA modifying enzyme was fused to yellow fluorescent protein. This construct was then transiently expressed in onion epidermal cells. Time course images were recored by a Leica confocal microscope.
