EDIT: Paula saw Wade dancing for Michael Jackson. She loved his dance moves, so she thought she would work with Wade and cherograph something for him. of course no, she didn't randomly choose him from the audience. That's how she Wade worked with Paula.
Paula makes and appearance on Arsenio Hall's Show. She talks about meeting her Idol-Gene Kelly, her rejection on being a short dancer, and whom she grew up listening to.
