We count down the top 10 goals of the year in a season that showcased plenty of great goals. In any other year Dustin Fletcher's bomb and Brendan Fevola's tackle and 60m roost would've made it but there were just too many freakshow goals for them to fit in.

Nobody expected the Swans to win against the might of the minor premiers and flag favourites Port Adelaide, but the red and white went over to South Australia and further affirmed their chokers tag (which they would abolish the following year). The Swans were tipped widely to finish 16th and they managed to finish with a preliminary final, a great credit to Paul Roos and his young list.
Now St.Kilda and former Sydney Swans pocket rocket Adam Schneider has only just begun his career and has already provided plenty of highlights. Just watch the great man in action.
