(HC-CDG)A Fokker F-28 taking-off runway 17 in Quito, Ecuador. Field elevation is 9,228ft. Captain was fighting some pretty good turbulence on takeoff which is no wonder given the fact that the airport is surrounded by mountains!

This is recent video of an Airbus A-320 of SATA International making a final approach and landing at Funchal, Madeira Is., Portugal.
This airport is known as the "other Kai Tak" because of it's very difficult approach.

This pilot had his program cancelled by ATC after he almost pancakes on the runway.
The power of the Eurofighter Typhoon is well demonstrated when the pilot barely pulls out of a potential pancake.

This 737 pilot makes his passengers poop their pants at a Kai Tak style approach at what is known as the "expressway" approach, (visual 31)at KLGA(LaGuardia). Despite my joking title, this is a common procedure known as "S turns". It's used at the pilot's discretion to provide some buffer between a departing and landing aircraft.
Pakistani Intl. Airlines 747 commits to a Go Around procedure. This video is for serious plane dorks like myself.
I have a lot of other aviation vids. as well as vids. of me drumming.
Turn the sound up on this one.
This is an Iberia airlines A-340 departing from Quito.

Hi. Scott Davies here. I made a quick low rent clip of some single pedal stuff because drummers have been asking me to do it.I put a practice pad on the snare to hear the kick better. No I don't usually play in Doc Martins. : )

In my opinion, the captain of this A-321 waited too long for go-around decision.
He actually tries to recover this landing.
I can only imagine how terrified his passengers were.
