Footage from the 1983 Formula 1 Grand Prix at Long Beach street circuit, featuring a fantastic battle for 1st place between Tambay and Keke Rosberg. Rosberg drives like a complete nutcase - it wouldn't be allowed now, more's the pity!
The final minutes of arguably the best game of rugby ever televised, Wasps clash with Munster at Lansdown Road in the semi-final of the 2003/4 Heineken Cup. At the start of this clip, the lead has changed hands five times, and Henderson has just joined O'Callaghan in the sin bin. Munster lead at this point by 32 - 25.
Quo's 20th Anniversary gig from the NEC in 1982. I remember seeing this on TV when I was 12 or 13. At the time I thought they looked dead old. Now I'm older than they were in this footage. Hmmm.
The two tries from Wasps tactical and psychological demolition of Leicester Tigers in the 2007 Heineken Cup final. Both scored from lineouts - its worth remembering that a few weeks earlier, Tigers had torn Wasps apart up front in the Premiership. I've left the replays in coz its real 'blink-and-you'll-mi ss-it' stuff.
A classic match from the first professional Heineken Cup in 1996. Wasps had just lost narrowly to Cardiff, then been thumped off the park by Munster - then champions Toulouse came to London....
I know I've posted a long version of this but this is the bit everyone wants to see. Toulouse have the momentum, and have levelled the scores at 20 all. Extra time looks inevitable, and no-one doubts that Toulouse will have the upper hand if it comes. Then Rob Howley fields a poor drop-out and kicks forward, towards Clement Poitrenaud - a decisive moment of individual brilliance. I love this.
My tribute to the late, great Kev Woodward, whose songwriting I only came to appreciate when I realised I was still humming his songs ten years after I last saw him play.
