Once upon a time many years ago (1981) three friends set forth to revoice 12 minutes of an old Kung Fu movie in the comfort of a living room. Armed with a microphone and a 3/4" video tape deck with (audio insert features) they were able to cobble together a demo to make a feature film. They never sold the feature film. This is the only result of their labor.
Shadoe Stevens played Fred Rated in these 1980s regional TV spots. Over the years there were many talented people who worked with Shadoe on these commercials... but for the most part Michael J. Hill produced. Dave Nichols wrote. Chris Culverhouse Technical Directed. Shadoe was the ringmaster and Chuck Cirino was the cameraman/director/e ditor.
I was once hired to follow a billionaire and two Hollywood celebrities around Ireland for a week and video tape their every move. I won't mention their names but you may recognize the Hollywood celebrities. I stayed in castles and mansions, traveled in limos and ate the best food on Earth. It was a week to remember forever!

In 1983 the video 'handicam' was introduced into the consumer electronics market. The year after I accessed one and took a 5-day road trip to Southern Utah to try it out. This is the result. The music is ABC.
This is a teaser video from my TV series "Tales from the Earthfather". In the mid-1970s I worked at Blue Ridge Cable TV in the public access studio. This is where I had my first access to video equipment. On weekends and after hours were the best times to hone my production skills for the first time. In 1977 I saw Star Wars and decided to move to Los Angeles and do this for real.
