Nikon has introduced a new, fast 50 mm lens. The new F1.4G, 50 mm AF-S lens features a Silent Wave Motor (for fast, quiet focusing), plus new coatings to reduce flare and chromatic aberration. And, since this lens has the built-in focus motor, this is the first 50 mm lens with autofocus support when attached to a D40/D40x or D60. The new lens is scheduled to ship in December for $439.

Zeiss releases the cinemizer for you to watch television on Nokia’s N96 or watch movies or YouTube videos on the N95. The 115 gram portable home cinema eyewear simulates a more than one meter movie screen at a distance of two meters. The mobile movie screen can be connected to the N96 and offers a unique feature to display the TV signal from the integrated DVB-T receiver.
