According to the Wall Street Journal, Dove’s viral video sensation Eye of the Beholder was the top viral marketing campaign this year, with nearly 30 million views online. The journal just published its year end ‘Best of Ads, Worst of Ads’ list and the winners also included the likes of The Simpsons, a Cadbury ad, as well as ‘K-Fed the Insurance Salesman.’ Down at the other end, some of the big losers from the past 12 months included the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie and a snarky Dodge ad that showed a dog being electrocuted by an SUV. Check out the entire list here at the Wall Street Journal website, and to find out more about viral advertisements online, checkout Yahoo!’s own Contagious Viral videos of the Week: Also See: K-Fed ‘Life Comes at You Fast’ Cadbury’s Drumming Gorilla How does viral marketing affect you? Fringe Fridays: Two films
Welcome back to Fringe Fridays, our regular exploration of experimental film and video. Today I bring you two films that really highlight the importance of editing and original music. The first one, by Canadian filmmaker, James Morison is a short, existential exploration that I think is rather touching. Another Day in Paradise: Both these creators do such a good job of putting meaningful images together to just the right music. -Kent, Yahoo! video Team

Politics Remixed
This video from Australian creator Hugh Atkins is burning up the viral charts, and with good reason: It put me in mind of another master of the genre, RX2049, whose It’s the End of the World video recently made the rounds on the blogs: Remixing media has proven popular with creators seeking to lampoon politics, to essentially unspin the spin. And with no shortage of video available on the Internets, chances are that this is just the beginning. -Kent, Yahoo! video Team
